Back in the Pool

My cold is 99% gone. Enough that I knew I could go back to the pool this morning. It felt so good to get back in the water and get my knees working again. The water was a nice 89.9, very comfortable. It's usually cooler than that. It too helped me get back into my swimming routine.
I spend almost an hour in the pool and then fifteen minutes in the whirlpool hot tub. My arthritic knees are in heaven after the hot tub, and me - I feel energized and ready to continue with my day.
I had to get my membership straightened out this morning, as well, as there was a message said it was expiring this week, which made no sense, as I paid three months in advance a few months ago, and then have paid every month since to keep it from expiring. So, I talked to the receptionist, who looked it up, saw the error, and as of right now, I'm good until February, which I was sure was the case, and when I pay a month's membership this week, it will be good until March.
It's been a good morning so far, and I expect it to continue.
How about you? Have you been hampered by colds and flu this season that have kept you from normal activities?
Thanks for reading and have a good day.

I have not had a cold in many years but do have those morning aches and pains. Old age sucks.

Yes, it does, @JohnRoberts. I hadn't had a cold in many years either. It was just my luck to get one this year.

It's rainy and wet today but seventy degrees. So it's a weird day outside. I have been neglecting myLot the last week so I will catch up here as well as do some work on my blog and then maybe go look at laptops this afternoon. Right now I am watching a movie.

Rainy doesn't sound like a nice day. 70 is good for Florida. What movie were you watching?

@just4him I hope I don't either but you know flues and colds can't be controlled so we have to put up with whatever comes.

@1hopefulman I hope you don't get sick either. From what I've heard it's bad around my area with lots of colds and flu.

@amadeo It is a nice looking pool. I have no idea where that one is, as it's from Pixabay, but the set up with the one side roped off from the other lanes, is like the set up in my pool, though we only have one rope dividing the pool.
I'm glad the flu shot is working for you.

@FayeHazel It is a nice looking pool and is set up similar to the one I swim in. Thank you. I'm glad to be back in the pool.

@just4him We have to accept what we can do; once we tried to use pool in hot summer, however even 20k liter water was too less for it and we have to change the plan otherwise it would be wastage of water; so we send water in water harvesting underground,

It's not something anyone should wait around for. Wait for the mail, or a phone call, but not colds and flu. I hope it doesn't strike on New Year's Eve either.
Thank you so much. The only thing I'm a tiny bit sad about is the temp. We're in the mid 30's today. That means snow melt if it gets above freezing. But I'm only a tiny bit sad because we have snow starting again tomorrow and continuing all day Wednesday. It should replace any snow melt we got yesterday and today.

I haven't had a cold, but feelings like a cold. I had a headache yesterday. My internet and phone was down most of the day due to an accident. I fixed a ring that Chris gave me when we were in Las Vegas. Today I got the mail and read some of a book.

I'm so glad you're feeling better. Since I started making smoothies everyday with a variety of fruit, I haven't been sick. Knock on wood.
