The Christmas Party of The Golden Ladies

Last night, our high school batchmates had the Christmas party at Casa De Piedra. This is the second Christmas party I had already. Everyone brought a gift for the exchange gifts. I bought a big towel with a towellete and got a Bible Journal titled Word for the exchange gift. It is a beautiful guide for everyday reading of the bible. I like it. The foods were great and we had games and had prices for the winners as well as for the losers. Most of all, everybody had fun singing and dancing with the aid of the videoke machine. Who says the “young once” cannot dance like the “young ones” now. And who says we cannot pose as beautifully as those beauty candidates do. Christmas time is indeed the most enjoyable month. We still have our office Christmas party on the 21st. That will surely be another enjoyable night. So, has anyone attended a party yet for December since not everyone practices having a Christmas party?

What fun photos! I'm so happy you had a wonderful time. I went to a tree lighting party here in Florida. It was my first and was fun!

Thank you. I always enjoy parties and gatherings just as you always do too. Tree lighting party , so that is the Christmas tree in our Catholic tradition? That's your first for the month and I suppose counting.

@SIMPLYD I suppose so. I'm not Christian, so I don't celebrate Christmas, but have gone to many Christmas parties.

@SIMPLYD I feel better today, I think it's the stress of the last few weeks and all those trips to Italy, I was very tired and I had a stomach problem. My mother went back to coma last night, this is a stressful Christmas for me.

Thank you,I think it is obvious from the pictures that we really had fun that night. Well, this happens when we rent a private videoke room, soundproof so others from outside can't hear our "croakings" At least even if you have not gone to any parties, you had a wonderful vacation in Spain. Maybe you should share with us some pictures.

I'm not sure I'd enjoy such Christmas parties. From what I read here I get the impression that people in your country can't get enough of Christmas celebrations.

But why won't you enjoy Christmas parties? I must admit, yes the people here starts their Christmas as early as September, because radios will paly Christmas songs starting Sept. 1 and some put up their Christmas decorations already.

@SIMPLYD I've learnt from many posts here that Christmas starts in September in your country. A reason for me never to visit after that date until the end of the year. Christmas celebrations at the end of December are enough.

Actually, it's when we hold our gathering in a private videoke room that all of us seems like high school girls again. We sing and dance to our hearts content especially those songs of our times, since it's a soundproof room.

Thank you. Actually, we had lots of photos since everyone wants a picture on their own cellphones. We even have a video of me and a batchmate singing and dancing. It seems it can't be attached here though. Hey, you had 3 already, me only two but counting also. I love December because of those parties.

@changjiangzhibin89 I think that's your counterpart of our Christmas here. What does you Spring Festival symbolize? Christmas for us symbolizes the birth of Jesus Christ. Everyone is already so excited of Christmas. You can see a lot of people shopping for gifts, clothes to wear for their Christmas parties and foods to prepare for the 24th midnight and 25th , Christmas day.

Yes, we reallt had so.much fun.That's because we rented a private videoke room so we will not be heard amd seen when we sing even out of tune and dance even if out of sync. We had lots of videos singing and dancing. We always make happg memories while we still can.
