Star Wars - The Last Jedi

It was a Star Wars day. I left shortly after posting the Daily Bible Study, and I'm just home. My friend picked me up and we met her sister and nephew at the theater.
If you're a Star Wars fan, you will love this movie. If you've seen it, I know you love it. Tons of action and unexpected characters, especially for me who hasn't paid attention to who was going to be in this film. I totally enjoyed it, though I'm going to need to watch it again to get the full scope of the film, as always happens with Star Wars and me.
Suffice it to say, it was good, and worth the time to go to the theater to enjoy it. That and the fact that it's $5 Tuesday on all films all day, so I didn't pay through the nose to see it, which was a plus.
After the movie we went out to eat at Olive Garden. I was thinking that I could have something that wouldn't cause problems with my diet, but as I'm looking over the menu, all I'm seeing is pasta, which is a no-no on this diet. I looked at our server and asked if there was anything not pasta on the menu. There was. So sticking 100% with my diet, I had a salad with balsamic vinegarette dressing, grilled salmon and broccoli, and hot tea. So, no cheating. Also no dessert, but I wouldn't have been able to have any even if there was something on the menu that I could eat.
Today was a very good day. Did you do anything out of the ordinary today or have plans to in the near future other than Christmas? Thanks for reading.

I am glad you got a good meal and movie in today.

Glad you had a nice outing and were still able to eat lunch and not cheat your diet. I loved the star wars movie i saw it the first night it came out.

I've seen all the Star Wars movies. I hadn't even seen this trailer. I only knew it was out as my son has been talking about it a lot.

New furniture is always fun. Thank you. It was a very good day. The restaurant actually changed up the order just a little bit as the original order had to have a lot of stuff taken off. Like bread crumbs, cheese, and butter. So they grilled the salmon and gave me broccoli instead of the zucchini which would have had the cheese and bread crumbs on it. That was so nice of them to do that.

That sounds like a good deal to me. My brother wants to go see it. No plans for me. I did take a nap for one hour, since my cat kept me awake last night. Church on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. I plan to go to the library on New Year's Eve after church to stack up on books to read next month.

The commercials look really good @just4him . My only problem is that the nearest theater is an hour away, so I'll have to wait til it comes to the TV.
