Cuddling is very helpful.

Cuddling increases Oxytocin levels, which is a 'bonding' hormone—this chemical reaction can help to reduce blood pressure, which in turn reduces the risk of heart disease. Cuddling could also help to reduce stress and anxiety levels and it strengthens the immune system. Do you cuddle your kids and near and dear ones? Do you like it when someone cuddles you? I think it is a nice way to make each other happy and smile. I hope your cat also feels happy inside, when you cuddle her.

@dpk262006 The cat is not mine, Willy is the cat of our neighbor, but he comes to visit me every day.

@LadyDuck It does not matter if Willy is your neighbor's cat, she probably visits your for your love and affection towards her.

Oh yes, cuddling is wonderful with loved ones (Hubby and kids)! Our only pets are our parakeets - but they don't seem to like to cuddle with us so much .

Yes, when you cuddle kids or your hubby, it gives you a feeling of warmth and closeness. I can understand that your parakeets would not cuddle with you, for that you need a puppy or cat.

@much2say Yes, Parakeets would have their own methods to cuddle. . Joining heads during cuddle sounds a good idea.

@dpk262006 Yes, parakeets seem to only like to cuddle (sort of) with their own kind . For us, we like putting our heads together as well - sort of a head cuddle .

Yes, you are very right. Hopefully, you do not miss an opportunity to cuddle your near and dear ones. PS - What makes you remove your avatar/profile picture. Without any avatar, it gives an impression that you have posted your response/comments, after someone's response. Please think over it.

My kids and I used to sit every night before bed cuddling and reading books together. I really miss that but there is just no keeping them little forever. I love to cuddle with my boyfriend and watch movies. I also love cuddling with my puppy.

I understand that kids are grown up and you get less opportunity to cuddle them. It is nice that you love to cuddle your boy friend and your puppy. I think your gesture make both of them happy.
