I have been reading about the electric vehicles when i was 10-11 years old, early 1980’s. Since then I am only hearing how it will be useful to all, future technology, blah blah but yet the technology hasnt become “practical” which can be used by masses.
Since this forum has a wide audience worldwide, want to know if there are any owners of electric vehicles here, be is bike, car or bicycle or any other. I would like to learn abut your experiences.

@tusziget yes unless technology becomes ready to mass produce such electric vehicles at affordable rates, such vehicles would be less in numbers.

One friend has bmw i8 and he gave it to me for a ride. Awesome accelaration, and so innovative technology I love it! I will make sure when I will sell my range rover to buy an electric one maybe bmw i8 or a tesla.

In my city, there are certain Ricksaws which run on electric batteries; meant for small distances. These are very common.
Electric Vehicles are the need of hour.
Pollution is less than others. Electricity can be produced via renewable sources. Right now, will be difficult.
Slowly and steadily will be made widespread.
