The first day of Winter!! It's also, National Maine Day. Which I've never been, but have thought about and mentioned maybe moving to if I ever leave MA. National French Fried Shrimp Day. Yeah, no. I'll pass. Crossword Puzzle Day. I used to love the ones in the kids activity books, but these adult ones can be kinda tough. Anne & Samantha Day. This is about Anne Frank and Samantha Smith.. but I can't say it's a good national day. Humbug day. Hey scrooges, todays your day! Woo! Enjoy it. Phileas Fogg Win A Wager Day. Not interested in this. Winter Solstice. Day Between December 20 and 23.. Didn't even realize this was today until now. National Flashlight Day. Day of Winter Solstice.. Flashlights are very handy to have. But a day for them.. I don't know. Yule. Day of Winter Solstice.. Happy Yule day, I suppose. National Homeless Persons’ Remembrance Day. First Day of Winter.. This is a good idea, but sadly, I don't think most places do it. Maybe some day soon everyone will be for it and make sure its done.r National Re-Gifting Day. Thursday before Christmas.. Regifting is only ever okay if you can't use an item and know someone who can - without the person who gave it to you knowing.. As to not waste a gift.

I love shrimp, so that's a great day, but I like the idea of the homeless remembrance day.

An interesting story about re-gifting - I received a gift from a customer, in the shape of a daisy for pierced earrings. I don't have pierced ears, so gave the gift to my daughter. My daughter didn't like it, so gave it to my sister-in-law as a wedding gift. She didn't like it and gave it to my sister. My sister gave it to me. Nobody liked that gift. I gave it to the thrift store.

And I like a cross word puzzle. I still one book here and I haven't answered them yet. I will probably give it useful someday.
