2 a.m. awaken by crows

It's not unusual for crows to flock here during the winter months. But as common as that is never before have I been awaken from sleep by such a noise. One has to wonder what set them off in the mid of night. The streets empty and silent only give way to a single vehicle passing by at these hours. The trees are so tall where they nest rule out any four legged animal disturbance. Which leaves me to believe it was either a hawk, owl, or eagle on the hunt. Regardless of the why, my slumber seems to have left me...

the ones around here will go off if the weather's bad in huge flocks.particularily wind or rain.

@creativeaashish Yes, my granny was half indian and she talked about spirits all the time. Nothing to fear but fear itself.
