Merry Christmas

How is everyone today? Did you have a white Christmas, excluding those down under of course. Are you celebrating at the beach or having an outdoor bbq? For the rest of us, where snow is the thing? How is it?
We got snow yesterday. I don't know how much, I didn't see the snow totals when I checked the weather for the day. However, we are a bit nippy today. We have wind and below zero wind chills. I'm dressed in layers, to say the least.
My mashed potatoes are ready, and I'll be leaving for my brother's in about an hour to enjoy Christmas with my brother and sister.
If you didn't see it, I posted about the family Christmas last night, which was perfect. Two grandsons plus my kids and my older son's girlfriend. It was a perfect evening and I got a lot of pictures of my family.
I have my camera battery charging at the moment to take with me to my brother's for more pictures.
I have one more Christmas movie to watch - my all time favorite - White Christmas, and I'll do that when I get home.
I don't know how much I will be here today, but I expect I won't be alone in those who are absent from the site today to enjoy the holiday with family and friends.
So, to all my friends on myLot, and I have a lot of them, as seen by the many cards I have on my coffee table in front of the window in the living room, which I'd show you, but the battery is currently charging. Instead, enjoy the picture I took this morning to put on my Daily Bible Study. Merry Christmas.

I am curious .... or rather nosy .... did the baby play mostly with the boxes rather than the actual toys he got?
It's just that I recall my nephew doing that when he was 2.

@rebelann Other than my sister reading to him a book he got for Christmas, he played with dice. My sister had a game that called for one dice in a ornament exchange. With the rules found online, we were able to play an interesting game with the numbers on the one dice. My grand nephew got very interested in the dice, and my sister-in-law found the rest of the dice and the shaker for them and gave them to him to play with. He was fascinated with the dice for the rest of the time we were there. He can really do a good job shaking those dice.

We did family this weekend, and took it very quiet today.I am glad you are having such a blessed Christmas. Less than an inch of snow, but very chilly temperatures.

No snow here!

It rained around 6-8am then sun tried coming out between 9 and 10am, then we had some snow for like 15 mins but was too sunny and 50° so knew it wouldnt last 
Though it is down to 37° now so... heres hoping for more snow! Lol.

It isn't supposed to rain on Christmas. Somebody needs to tell the weather that. It's supposed to SNOW. I keep trying to tell the weather what it's supposed to do, but it never listens to me. I hope you get more snow.

@Courtlynn That's very understandable you would be mad. I remember my first Christmas away from home. I didn't expect snow - it doesn't snow in San Diego, and I was in the Navy, stationed there, but I wasn't expecting it to rain either, which it did. It was an unforgettable holiday. Though I have no idea what we did on that day. I only remembered it rained.

@just4him right! I was mad when i woke to my mom saying it had rained. And then tonight around 3pm it hailed! For like 8mins. Then nothing rest of the day

We are enjoying the peace and quiet here at home today and this evening. My daughter has her boyfriend over and my grandson is at his dad's. So nice to just have some quiet down time. My grandson can be very demanding so it is nice that my daughter gets this rest.

My cat Sid and I have survived our first Christmas on our own. Tomorrow however here is second Christmas Day same as in the UK where it is Boxing Day. I will ignore that tomorrow though and just do my work as usual. Hope you have a great rest of Christmas Day.
