I have eaten too many of those special cookies, and it is now time to go to bed. Hubby has just gone and I told him I would follow.
I will enjoy a day home tomorrow. Wednesday I will go for dental work. I hope to get together with my son's family Thursday evening for Christmas. I need to message my daughter in law and see.
It has been a good and quiet day. I have read things here that help me ponder my blessings from God. Thank you all for sharing your day.

It sounds as though you needed a quiet day before facing the rest of your busy week. I must finished off the cookies our friend brought over earlier this week. If my husband will leave the TV off, I might even make some cookies, I can't stand hearing it in the background when I'm working in the kitchen. Today I played Christmas carols while I worked in the kitchen and told him I needed that and that hearing the TV was stressful. It's tough on him being too sick to read or go anywhere, so I don't want to deprive him of his entertainment completely. But I would like to get things done around the house, and when the TV is on I retreat to my office and the computer and nothing gets done in the house.

@GardenGerty Yes, you celebrate Thanksgiving and we do not, the 4th of July and we do not. Every country has different celebrations. I have the feeling that our Filipino friends are those with most holidays.
