Making a small stool

It was really a hectic work for me. I took some pains and finished the work of thiis stool for Christmas.
I have been searching for a good top. I could get a wooden plank. I made it as the top of the stool. But, the top was shabby and needed some external treatment to give a good appearance.
Finally, I found a beautiful velvet cloth and used it to decorate the stool.
How is the stool friends?

This is actually meant for seating only. I can not keep an Idol over it as it will damage the fabric. I have not made up my mind to keep it in the market for sale yet. I am thinking over that. Another one is being prepared for the sale.
