I couldn't wait to leave the beautiful sunshine in Florida to be with my family for the holidays in New Jersey. Well..... Here I am here and it is 18 degrees here all day.. The snow is beautiful and feels so crisp. Remind me next year to bring the family down south. .

Snow is beautiful to look at when falling gently, but that's about it.

I should have known better as I only moved to Florida 4 years ago. I spent all my 72 years up north.

@ramapo17 I actually prefer the temperature on the cooler side. When it's too hot, it saps my energy.

@1hopefulman I totally agree with you. I would rather be cold than hot as it is easier to get warmer than cooler. Butttt, this is to cold. It is way below zero.

I like the cold at times and not for a very long time. I always loved it but I guess my blood thinned out being in Florida. At least we can always put on extra sweaters and clothing. In Florida we keep the air conditioning on as it keeps out the heat and my allergies do not bother me then either.

Would you prefer to spend the next Christmas in a warm weather? I missed my white Christmas when we used to travel to warmer countries.

No, that is why I travel north in the winter.

How did you survive the winter in New Jersey so far. I did enjoy the cold and the snow, for awhile anyway.

@dgobucks226 I know what you mean. My husband is still real bad with the cold but won't go to the doctors. He sounds like he has pneumonia, the cough is awful.

@ramapo17 We are getting a little break today 58 degrees Nancy, so it is getting rid of a lot of snow. I can see my lawn now! I can deal with the winter usually except when we get a combo of snow with sub freezing weather that stays for a week. Snow does not melt and it just stays so cold...

Haha. I can imagine it's a bit colder. I'm always very careful what I wish for and put lots of provisos on my wishes just so the meaning is really clear.
