Only 83 Days Left and Counting!

Hey, I can hope, right? That's how many days are left until the first day of Spring, 2018. When I look out across all this snow and step outside and feel that icy cold, it's hard to believe it will soon all be gone once again. This photo I found online of a single crocus pushing up through the soil just feels so hopeful, so I thought I'd share it with all those of you who are as eagerly anticipating Spring as I am. We can do our best to survive those 83 days. Spring is sure a joy to those of us who are freezing right now!!!

Yup. People who have summer year-round never get the huge joy of spring.

Only 83 days to the beginning of autumn here. In spite of the heat, I love summer.

I don't like the heat, but I much prefer the milder weather to this.

@Raelove I´m cutting the grass here in one of the hottest days. But it really doesn´t get THAT hot.

It's becoming more of a hardship now. It can be pretty, like the icy trees. But when I have to go out in the cold to clean my car off, I don't enjoy that. I much prefer being outside planting things!

@TiarasOceanView So was I, and I can still walk in it. Long story, but it's just not pleasant doing that here.

I have learned to accept each day, as it comes. The weather use to bother me so much! Now, if it's warm that's great and if it's cold, that's great, also

I tolerate it. Can't do anything about it. But hoping for spring helps me focus on that instead of THIS.

Thank you for the good news. If we can survive this coldness, then we can handle anything coming our way!

Yes, they are. I love when I see the first green spikey leaves popping through the soil or the snow. That IS very hopeful.

Well luckily we don't get much Snow here in our area. The first real snow that even lasted for some yrs was the Snow we got here for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. Spring a lot of times for us means Rainy Wet weather, but also a newness of life which is nice.

Sorry to laugh but hasn't winter just arrived? I hope you're able to stay warm at least.
