Nothing, Nothing, Nothing Sounds Good For Dinner!

We are about to leave for the store and there isn't anything I want for dinner. We really are a country with too many food choices. I sometimes just stare at all the different options, and have a hard time making up my mind. I don't take food for granted and I'm very grateful for the food I can buy, because there are so many that go without. I thank God everyday for blessing me. Hopefully, something will look halfway appealing when we go, especially since we decided to Target, my favorite store in the world. Do you ever have this problem?

That's the beans of choice here @misunderstood_zombie and all I do actually is make a soupy tomato and salsa brew add some meat or chicken then the beans. I still have some of the soup I made yesterday and I'm finishing that off for breakfast.
Usually after feasting like what we did during the Christmas celebration, I will opt for simpler food the following day. The next day after Christmas, I use the leftover steamed rice to make sinangag na kanin (garlic rice), a viand of slice tomatoes with Tinapa (smoked fish) and coffee for breakfast. This is what we call a "poor man's meal"

All the time. I'll look at my freezer full of food and not want anything in it. I'll check out the fridge and do the same, then I'll opt for a potato. Yes, I'm satisfied with a simple potato and nothing else. I've been going through a lot of potatoes lately.
