A Spot and A Blob

- Found another age spot on the back of my hand today. Considering my age, I shouldn't be surprised, yet I was surprised OK. (As in, 'why didn't I see it yesterday or the day before?' ) - Saw a giant blob of bird dropping on the front of my beautiful car this morning . Too giant that I think the culprit must have been a pterosaur (some creatures with a 10m wingspan), or failed that, some albatross (about 4m wingspan)? - While using some rosemary branches to clean the mess off my car, the stuff splashed onto my front, 'EW' moment! --- I am thinking of setting up a controlled Firing Area just to protect my car from those bombers. I can't face this sort of thing on the first day of the New Year (I want my new year to be purrrfect!). Hope your day is much better than mine.

Hope there are no more spots or blobs surfacing - and if there is a blob, let it be a tiny one.

@YrNemo There are some places (under the trees) where we know it's better never to park your car.

@LadyDuck But there is no tree whatsoever in my backyard. BUT I just remember, there are giant trees outside my gate, about 10 m away. (Enough to attract those evil birds .)

I was indignant at that invasion from those aliens. I am very sure they were no friends of mine! (But I was glad that I welcomed the New Year with a clean car! Those birds seemed to go holiday or something!)

@scarlet_woman Some freckles are cute, aging spots are cute too, just a bit odd (at least to me, since I have never got freckles ever in my life.) God must have got a good reason to give people of a certain age group, these beauty spots. I haven't figured out yet what that is, perhaps for us to count and say, 'this spot is for this sin I did when I was that age, that spot was for that event that year' ?

Why do birds target cars? I have some of those here as well and I hate the mess.

Those birds might think that they were doing some sort of vandalism for a change. Or perhaps after attending the Christmas party, they got drunk and missed the toilet by that much of inches?

Isn't it supposed to be lucky to be pooped on by a bird? Never could see that myself! Regarding the age spots - mine are sort of merging together by now

@jaboUK heart problem! For years, she had wanted to follow her husband to the other world. She got her wish finally. We, her relatives, cried lots but we understood.

I remembered being fascinated with my grandma's aging spots when she was in her late 50s. When I first got my first aging spot, I silently talked to her, 'Grandma, now it is my turn to have it! Cool!' (She passed away in her sleep when she was 58 or so.)

I hope your day started going better. I know when I turned 30 I noticed that I had forehead lines... why didn't I notice it before?

I always had forehead lines even as a child. I was told that because I used my brain cells lots, that was why .

While I was washing the car, there was a crow sat there watching me for a long time. Almost like it was telling me, 'hah, wash your car if you must, I am going to give you some more soon!'

The blob is directly proportionate to the size of the bird. Is that what you are trying to tell us (lol)

Exactly . Another few months, and in my mind, that blob would have increased in dimensions...

Birds don't have rest rooms and don't think when they poop in the air Just cover your car to compensate.

It's funny how you don't notice age spots or whatever then suddenly you do. You wouldn't think they could just suddenly appear.

I noticed the first one when I was 44 or something. Back then, I thought it was cute! These days, I sort of watch for the new ones and don't know what to say... ( What should we say anyway to this development? )

Perhaps them birds think they were car monitors and their duty is to mess things up a bit.

I overheard some teenagers mentioning the use of turmeric on those dark spots they had on their face. I can't be bothered doing that to the spots on my hands. Imagine having spots which resemble spots on tortoiseshell .
