In a funk ....

I know a few people on here find themselves in a funk every now and then. What do you do to get yourself out of it? I have been feeling sad all day today. As soon as my grand daughter left I got back into bed and have been here ever since. I just feel to be alone with my thoughts. I have no desire to do anything. One of my kitties has been laying here beside me all afternoon. It is comforting. I tried to eat but I am just not feeling it. I know it will pass and I will feel better in a few days but for now I just can't get over this feeling of sadness.

I'm sorry your feeling down. I pray, watch Todd White videos on YouTube, listen to Christian music and my favorite when I am able to is help someone else who is down or just needs something I can give. =) I will be praying you feel more like yourself soon!

I don't have many of these days anymore but a couple of things may help. Fill the bathtub and pamper yourself a little with a good soak in nice hot water, then go ahead and take a nap, I usually feel better when I wake up. Or plan a vacation, it doesn't have to be a real one, do a dream one but research bed and breakfasts that you would love to visit, anything to get your mind into a more positive place. Sending hugs and prayers your way.

@Happy2BeMe Glad that you had something to eat. The body needs its nutrients to function properly.

I understand how you feel. I am dealing with something right now and after it gets taken care and on its way to where it should I then worry will there be problems and is it ok till I know it is ok then I go on to something else. Sorry, I guess it probably did not help you. I guess everyone has to find a way to get through their own funk.
