I heard news of my maternal grandfather's death yesterday and I didn't feel sad. It's about time he meets his Maker and be with his one true love. He's 98 and he has lived long enough, was able to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He has shared too many laughters and cheers.
He was the only grandfather I knew and was able to spend time with. We exchanged letters when he was still residing in LA, California. He shared stories with me that I will never ever forget. Now it's time for him to be with my grandma and my mother.
Rest in peace my dear Grandad and say hello to grandma and my mother for me.

@toniganzon My mother has been healthy during all her life. They feed her with a tube, she does not want to live that way.

@ridingbet Yeah. Whenever he was on vacation from the US he would stay in our house and we'd have dinner together. He usually visits every single year and would tell stories.

@toniganzon do you still recall the stories left by your grandfather since you were young? for me, yes, and i think my memory is vivid enough to recall even those stories he narrated when i was still in my elementary years.

@arthurchappell Yeah, we are not that sad to see him go. I'm sure he's happy to be with my grandma again. His life here on earth has already served its purpose.

@toniganzon I know how you feel because I lost my dad the day after Christmas in 1998. He was 77 years of age.
