I come from a family of eight (possibly more) children. While I know who my father was, my half sister had no clue who hers is. My father is listed on the birth certificate as her father but he isn't. Yesterday she got the answer that she's been waiting for. A cousin of hers sent a message through ancestry.com. She now knows the name of her father and got to see pictures of him. Unfortunately for both of us our fathers have passed on and we will never get to know them. Still, there's more to find out from our DNA and hopefully more family to meet.

That is nice that she finally found oit who her father was and what he looked like. It is a piece of a puzzle that has been missing in her life.

It was for both of us. I knew my father's name or thought I did. It's wrong on my birth certificate and I had never seen a picture of him, until just recently. We're finally finding out lots of family stuff.
