Oklahoma (and maybe most of America too, I dunno) has always been 'worker-powered.' That is, most of us live off of paychecks earned through manual labor. So the majority of us are 'parts of employers' machines.' And that has worked, but--as more-and-more employers realize that mechanical equipment is much-much-cheaper than our biology--'people who operate the mechanical' will find more opportunity! http://www.codingdojo.com/visit-our-campus Maybe that's why Oklahoma's oil- & energy-companies have taken over the education-system---not because 'they want to destroy Oklahoma' (with smog and fracking and earthquakes etc.), but because they want the people of Oklahoma to be secure in their peaceful prosperity!

Interesting. I live in London so I don't know much about Oklahoma.

@mythociate That is an interesting pie chart. I am job seeking in the IT and software sector from January so that information is very promising.
