Writing checks next year.

I know several people who still writes checks to pay their bills. Sometimes; when the new year comes; somebody might still write the old year on their checks. If you still write checks; have you ever done this?

Still use checks and only once I did but it was an easy fix. The last digit was to be a 6 and I wrote a 5. I've been careful ever since.

No such checking system here in Latvia.
