Just dropping in to wish everyone a late Merry Christmas and an early Happy New Year. I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas, mine was good. My son got a lot of stuff and is content playing with it all and keeping busy. I got a couple of cool gifts but I would have been fine without anything. I don't really care about the gifts. I'm just happy my son is happy. Watching his face light up on Christmas morning is the best gift I can be given as a parent. I used to think parents got gypped on Christmas when I was a kid but as an adult, I know better. The best thing is watching my son's face light up whenever he opens something he wanted. Of course, Christmas isn't all about the gifts but for kids, it is the best time of the year. My son is grateful for everything he gets and acts excited over everything even if he doesn't particularly like it. He knows people didn't have to get him anything. He also says thank you to everyone. He doesn't actually ask for much. He usually has a small list of maybe 5 or 6 items and they aren't usually too expensive. He would like more but he keeps his list small so he is easy to buy for. He got everything he asked us for this year because he didn't ask for much. We usually get what he asks for and then a few things we think he'd like. My husband and I have tried to instill manners and appreciation into him and everyone has always told me they like buying for him because he acts like everything is the best gift ever and he is so polite. I'm glad that he has learned this from an early age. I tell him every day how fortunate he is and he knows there are kids with a lot less than him. I think one day we'll find a way to start giving back. Maybe next year we will try to buy and donate toys. He told me he would love to do that. Anyway, our Christmas went a lot better than I thought it would. How was everyone else's?

I think you are instilling very positive values in your little boy. No wonder people like buying for him.

Thats a good boy you have, Its good if good habits are instilled in childhood. And we must ensure they keep these habits as they grow.

My Christmas was good, but I already told you about it. That reminds me, I still have some presents to send you guys, if I ever get around to mailing them out.

lol, I still have stuff to send you too, Hugh shouldn't wait but he will cause it's freaking cold outside and I don't wanna go out. Glad to see we are both equally horrible at mailing stuff.

@sissy15 At this rate maybe you'll get your package by your birthday...or the 4th of July. Or maybe next Christmas.
