Walking To Get Fit

So how many of you like walking to get fit? I love to do walk workouts in the comfort of my own home. Don't get me wrong, I walk outdoors around my neighborhood or at the park when the weather permits. Walking is such a great way to get your blood flowing and heart pumping while you are getting fit. Don't forget to stretch your muscles before and after your walk. My walk workouts consists of the treadmill, walking outdoors weather permitting, and doing walk workout DVDs. My favorite walk workout is Walking Off The Pounds by Leslie Sansone! Sometimes to shake it up a bit, I do Walk Strong by Jessica Smith. How about you? Do you have a favorite walking workout? Cool - I do not have a gym membership, but I do workouts that include my hand weights.

I do yoga but lately, I'm kind of lazy to workout. What I do is watch my diet so I wouldn't gain weight that much.

Walking ifs a great way to get fit but I read an article about basic exercises and it said that even sitting down and standing up is just as effective as most cardio.

Yes - walking workouts are a great way to get in your cardio. Most of the time, they are broken up in miles so you can workout at your leisure...1 mile, 2 miles, etc. Good luck and please let me know how it works out for you!

I like to go for walking. It is the best exercise I feel. Walking helps to reduce weight and keeps are body fit. I used to go with my mother in the morning for walking. We feel really very refreshed. No other exercise is better than walking.

I think whatever works best for you is how you should go about it. Gym. Home. Outside. As long as your are getting a healthy amount of exercise.

I make sure that I take at least 10,000 steps a day. I love walking and I have to walk a lot as part of my routine.

These days most of my walking is done as a result of needing to get some where, like when the chickens need food.

It sounds like you are doing well with your workouts. I used to walk a lot but now I try and walk as much as I can. It is good to walk.

Walking is always the best method to weight loss easy method also.warm up excercise is must before you start.start slowly and increase the speed.i do walk half an hour daily :). welcome to Mylot friend
