Happy New Year 2018

Another year just flew by me. My mom always told me how fast time goes by as we get older and she was right. It seems like celebrating a new year tonight just happened for 2017. Did you do anything special tonight and do you have some great plans for the New Year? Being we left our home in Florida to visit with the kids and grandson, we enjoyed ourselves a lot. If the weather wouldn't have been near zero we would have enjoyed it more but it reminded us of the reason we moved down south to begin with. Next year the family can come south and enjoy a holiday on the beach.

I am hoping this new year will be more merciful to me. But whatever, I will just play things by ear. (We don't have any choice do we! ). 2017 was a very long year for me.

@YrNemo At least you have a lot of friends here and some of us are always on in case you need to talk or vent. We are pretty good listeners but hopefully things will be better for you in 2018.

We had no special celebrations, a very quiet dinner with my husband and we did not even waited for midnight to go to sleep.

I didn't do anything special to ring in the new year. I was in bed hugging my pillow at 9! Had to work the next day so I needed to get my rest.
