What is your favorite type of art? Who is your favorite artist?

Soo I will try this again... Any kind of artist, make up, designer, painter, musician, etc. Personally I cannot pick a favorite artist. I love all art forms. Music is my favorite form of art. I just love how it moves me and you can escape in it. To me, music has to be dynamic. Its not all about the lyrics to me although those do speak to me as well. As far as visual art, I love surreal art. Art that mimics a dreamy state of mind. My second favorite is psychedelic art. It honestly does not mimic a psychedelic state of mind but I love how you can get lost in the designs.

I like all forms of art (just like you.) You can even be looking at lyrics from a song, and it will suddenly look like poetry. Really, songs are just poems, but they're being sung and they have a melody. Eminem is probably one of the greatest poets of all time, but I don't think he gets the credit he deserves for it, he just gets credit for being a great rapper. But if you ever listen to his music, and I mean reeeallly listen to it, he not only makes the ends of verses rhyme, he also can make the middles of them rhyme. Very, very difficult thing to do. My favorite old-school poet has always been Wordsworth, and now I'm still reading The Sun and Her Flowers (great book of short poetic phrases and verses) - and as for the visual arts, I just like stuff that looks like THIS. Isn't that a beauty? No idea where I found it, just had it saved in my pics. I could stare at it all day.

Eminem is an amazing artist. People bash on him because his sound is different after he got clean but I actually love his new album. I like that he's real honest about what he is going through and isn't afraid to play with new sounds. As for this picture I absolutely love it! Its almost as if you could escape into the picture.

I like nearly all kinds of visual art, especially abstract art. No special name comes to mind, though.

I do enjoy abstract art and abstract design as well. I like that anyone can pull any meaning or story out of it. It opens a great window of possibilities.
