Cold as a well diggers+================censored

Good afternoon.
Back from lunch,dinner,etc.
We were invited out to lunch and turned out to be more of a dinner type.
Lunch to me is a sandwich of some sort.
But here is the menu for lunch.
We started out with butternut squash,then we had Fritatta,Salad,bread.
Follow by apple crisp with champagne,wine,etc.
they gave Mike and I a small presents.
We did not expect this.thought having lunch and out.
We stay over three hours.This was eleven in the morning.
These are our vegetarian friends.It was a lovely day in spite.
But did not expect all of this.Very nice of them.

Well if you have to venture out in this terrible cold, you might as well venture into something wonderful, and it sounds like you did!
We had our usual brunch, bacon, eggs, fruit salad, but are having a nice roast beef supper. Its what we usually do on the first day of the year. Its all down hill from here.
