Why do I hate shopping carts?

I hate them because they are always messed up.
Let me tell you the story about why I hate shopping carts so much.
It starts with the fact I used to be a carry out clerk at a Kroger store, and well, I liked to get the tips and help the people out with their carts, but it often was more like, I was spending all my time bringing them all back in.
Now I don't work at Kroger and I only worked there a few months at the longest. Long enough to know I was not enjoying that job. But back to the issue of hating shopping carts. The reason I hate them is because they are just plain made wrong. They take up space and they put dents in cars in the lot. they are hard to push on the uneven surfaces of parking lots and generally they are just plain ugly.
Now, if there were to be a new design to go into making those heavy carts and make them better I might like them a lot more than I do at this moment.

The latest high-tech robotics patent went to Walmart, which recently won approval for an autonomously steered, self-returning shopping cart.

The ones for the future have to be better than the ones now being used. It's a matter of time before this happens. So many ways to make them better and nobody seems to understand this. The plastic red carts used by Target stores are so far the best design.

most of walmart's here have messed up wheels.
i was surprised home depot got new ones when i complained-it's probably from idiots loading concrete in them instead of using the flatbed dolly.

I think shopping carts are deliberately made with one wheel bad. Seriously, have you ever found a shopping cart with four good wheels? No, there’s always that one wheel that squeaks, spins, drifts the cart to whatever side the wheel is located on, etc.
As for the article, I don’t envision that happening. One of the biggest costs stores have is the replacement of stolen shopping carts. Now, make a shopping cart with technology and see how fast they vanish....

My biggest complaint about shopping carts is their size. I really like the tiny little ones. It tends to curb my shopping.

Two such retailers, CVS and Dollar Tree use the tiny four wheeled shopping carts, and compared to the ones used at Sam's Club, the difference in size is staggering.

I hate them too.. sometimes I will get one broken and all the rest are taken and it will be a real mess
