He's Got My Back!

I went down town to go to physical therapy and when I was done there I went to the drug store. Well I decided to leave my car running. I remember looking at the door to make sure it wasn't locked and it wasn't! So I prayed and asked God to please help me! Well I got done at the pharmacy and went to get into my car and the door was locked! I couldn't believe it. I was so cold out too! So at first I made several attempts to open it wasn't opening. So I called my dear friend who just happened to be home and told her my situation and she said to give her 10 minutes she had to get dressed. Well when she pulled in I was so relieved to see her. Then I wasn't sure if we had an extra key for the door at our home. So I had butterfly's in my stomache and when I got to my house and went in to find both keys to the car. Theres one for the ignition that had to be replaced and there's one for the car door. What relief swept over me. So she took me to my car and I got in and headed home feeling very blessed in a situation that could have been costly! God had my back covered so to speak. He took care of me once again. Thank You Lord! Has this ever happened to you? Picture by bing.com

I have accidentally locked my keys in the car more than once. It can be very costly to call a locksmith. I had to do it once. I'm glad your neighbor could help you.

@Butchcass4 it's very possible that someone did lock your door.

@IreneVincent Yes I thought about that. However it happened I am so greatful that God took care of me. It was a miracle that my friend was available she is usually out that time of day. And the fact that I had an extra set of keys was a royal blessing as I thought we only had one key and I wasn't sure if it was the door key. So thank You Lord that it all worked out!

@Ganma7 Yes I totally agree with you God is the best! When did you give your heart to Jesus Christ? It was March 1986 for me, yet I feel like I'm not as mature as I should be. One of my goals for 2018 is to get up when I wake up and pray. It hasn't happened yet but I would ask you to please pray for me as putting God first is thee most important thing in our lives as His children.

I have always been terrified to leave my car running when I go inside somewhere simply because if anyone can accidentally lock the doors, it would be me.

@AmbiePam Well I can honestly say it was a lesson well learned for me! Imagine if God hadn't helped me. It would have been costly and time consuming! Thank God my friend just happened to be home and that we just happened to have an extra set of keys! Thank You God!

God is always watching us. That hasn't happened to me at all. I never leave my car running at all.

Yes God was watching out for you, someone could have popped the window and stole your running car. No but I have lost my keys and has to have my car pulled to the dealership to have another made. What I did was make one for the door and I keep it in my purse at all times!

@andriaperry You are very wise to keep an extra key in your purse. I was leaving my purse locked in the car when I go for physical therapy and had my keys put in a dish while I was there but I won't do that any more either I'll just take my purse with me. No doubt God is watching over me, this was actually the second time within a month that I got locked out of my car, ugh!
