They are good for some and bad for others. Cleaning up credit means clearing out fees. I want to do better this year so I am thinking about a few things. I best get to it then. What do you think about credit cards?

They are useful for me, but I pay all I owe in the month.

I only have 1 credit car and only use for big items. But I pay it right away so I never pay any interest.

I use them, but i think it`s better not to use them. We are using the bank money and we will pay more than we get.

Use them for what you already have the money for. Advice from the king of credit, my grandfather.

A credit card was useful for buying online or for buying large items such as furniture or televisions etcetera. If shopping for an expensive item you can never be certain what the cost will be, so it saves carrying large amounts of cash. I always paid the full balance every month and therefore did not pay interest charges. As soon as debit cards were introduced I ceased using credit cards.

We use them for all online purchases instead of our debit cards which wouldn't have the same protections. We use them for groceries and gas because we get 3% cash back. And we use them for big household purchases (refrigerators, washing machine/dryer, stove/oven, etc.) because you can get free financing for X number of months when you use store cards like Sears, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. We try to be smart about how we use them.

One should be very careful with credit cards. You can spend more than you should.
