The weekend is getting closer

The temperature is finally starting to rise here. It is now -12C (10F) which is far better then what we having been having the past week. Tomorrow is suppose to be 2C (35F) but we will be having a major snow blowing through. They are calling for anywhere from 8-15 inches (20-40 cms) and strong winds. On top of that there will be freezing rain and then rain. Sounds like it will be a messy drive home from work tomorrow. We still have a few people from work home sick and a few people who are working sick. I hope I don't catch any of it. Seems so many people are sick this time of year with the colds and the flu. I am on my lunch break now. Just enjoying a salad. Hoping to be able to get out for a walk after work today since the temperatures are rising. Hope you are all having a wonderful day. Just wanted to stop bye and say hi and catch up on what has been happening here! Have a great day/night!

It's a regular heat wave, considering what we've been enduring for the past week. Enjoy the warmer temperatures. It's good the week is half over. At the moment it's snowing, so we have good temps too.

Sounds about the same as the temperatures we have been having here. I had to walk down to the garage in town a mile away yesterday to pick up my van so I was happy it had warned up to 20 F.

I just read this morning that all of Canada is frozen, except for the city that's always the warmest. Forgot the name. It's dropping here, too. Heading out to lunch in a few minutes. Happy Whatever day it is. Lol!

So far my day is good. Its warming here too, 37 today and will be a nice 54 by Monday!

It's a little warmer today, but not much. Then it'll be cold again over the weekend. It's supposed to be a lot warmer on Monday, and I'm so hoping it's true.

I cannot even imagine negative or single digit temps - that is seriously cold (and here we are thinking it's cold in the 60s!). Stay warm!!

This cold is record-setting across much of eastern US and Canada and now the blizzard. We are in the south and we are not sure what we will face when we get to Savannah. Stay warm and healthy.

Enjoy the fresh air and walking that you'll be able to do before that terrible storm arrives, it won't be safe walking after the ice and snow. Hopefully it won't be as bad as they are forecasting.
