This year not off to a good start once again

If this is a sign how things will be, then I dread the rest of the year. Yesterday my grandmother fell and was taken to the hospital.
She was hurt pretty bad, they sent her home with some pain pills, on the way back from picking her up our car stopped working, right in front of the house.
This morning she was rushed back to ER, to find out she needs hip surgery from the fall.
One bad thing after another, I don't think I can handle much more.. Lets some good light shine on our family.

she is 101,years old, i don't think she will be doing too much moving, but she has to get better

@CookieMonster46 Awesome! Hope she has strong bones. But, yes she will have to take it easy. With good PT she will heal even at 101. Prayers for the new year.

I am so sorry! I hopw her surgery goes well. And she recovers fine.
It is scary, as my grandmother had to get hip surgery, but all went fine and I'm sure it will for yours too.

last year it started out bad, and continued, to be bad the rest of the year. I really hope this didn't set off the way again this year.

So far not the best, but that is terrible about your grandmother. My younger son had his hot water heater die and had a burst pipe so he is off to a bad start as well. I will say a prayer for your grandmother that her surgery goes well.

I am sorry. I hope your grandmother's surgery goes well and she recovers swiftly. Last night our car broke down too. I sure hope it's not a sign of how the rest of the year is going to go.

yes, we have had more than three so far, and more to come. Grandma was in bad pain yesterday. I believe she goes to rehab next for recovery.
