How long do dreams last / myLot

Sometimes my dreams tend to be too long I wonder how long they really last. I once read that the longest one lasts for about 30 seconds but mine seems to be longer than that especiall when I travel the world or someone is chasing me. Anyone who knows how long they last?

I watched a documentary about dreams and they mentioned that dreams that feel long often last for seconds only

@aureliah our brains work in mysterious ways I suppose. A dream could be just a thought that feels long when it isn’t.

I guess the more terrifying... those are longer! At least, I can only remember those type of dreams, unfortunately.

My dream contains something that would last only thirty minutes eventhough I was sleeping eight hours.

I would think that 30 minutes is too much to have a single dream! Or you combine all the dreams you have in a night?

I always feel my dreams last longer. But if seconds and/ or minutes is true, then that's great.

I know many of the ones I remember for a while seem to last a while. Had an interesting one the other night and even told my husband about it. I know Dreams can have a significant meaning

Yes I also tend to believe that all dreams have a significant meaning. They communicate things that are yet to happen.
