I am new to myLot. I just joined today and am looking to meet new friends here. I am also looking for an online job, preferably typing jobs for newbie like me, so I thought making posts on here might help me.

Yeah, just type it in english because Filipinos will be aware and will respond to your post. Probably check others peoples post too so that they could notice.
But if you check patsy haileys post then you will realize that there's nothing wrong with your english

@hereandthere I thought we can converse in our own dialect but I just read the guidelines, and we should write in English. On the other hand, it was okay. I can improve my English by conversing to different people around the world. :)

The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction.
Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.

mylot is and has always been a discussion/forum site, not an article writing site, so it's not strict about english.
in fact, it's interesting noticing how people write from different countries.
there is also a wide age range (teens to 90s) so choice of words and the things they reference vary, too.
that's why we are only allowed to write in english, so we can all understand each other, and yet, even with just english, we still ask each other to explain things now and then.

Thank you for encouraging me to converse in English. Actually, it took time for me to compose of what will I respond to a comment. Nosebleed grabe! Haha well at least, for us to have a wide range of audience to discuss something, one should write it in universal language

Thank you. I actually found out that there's no way it will pay you like a job. It will take time to aim the minimum payout of $5.00. But that's my least priority now because I enjoying talking to different people.. I starting to like it here
