Good morning, friends. Although I guess the word morning is not the best to use. Tonight, a little before 6 AM, I received a call from ADT, my alarm system. I was instantly awake and with terror. For some reason that escapes me, the friends that live at my house had decided not only to go out that early, but also they forgot to take out the alarm system. And although I had given them the phone code, I don´t know what they told the people from the alarm company that they called me here. It took me a long while to go back to sleep, with nightmares where robbers got into my house because my friends had left the garage door open. I do wish they go soon in search of a place to live. My aunt here says that I did what was right to have them at home. But I´m in need of my privacy. Well, I will keep my fingers crossed, for them and for me.

I don´t understand how did they forget to turn off the alarm before opening the door. They have been doing it for a long time here.

I can understand your need for privacy. My mother in law has 2 of her lazy, grown grandchildren living with her - and she cannot stand the living circumstances anymore. I hope your friends move out soon!

They might overstay their welcome if they do not find a place soon.

That was not a good way to be woken up in the morning. I am sure you will be very happy the day they leave.

Why not encourage them by looking for places for them. After all you do know them well.
