El Paso, Texas

Looks like the eve on January 31st will be a one time thing in our lifetimes, I sure hope I do not forget to be outside when it happens:
A total eclipse of a "blue moon" will occur on Jan. 31 — the first time this has happened since 1866.

Yeah, I kinds wondered if that would be the problem, I have a site I'll use to see if I have a chance to see it .... of course if it's too early in the mornin I'll completely forget, I do good just gettin up to let the pup out and these days she's not too keen on goin out. Blasted little woose, wonder what she'd do if it were as cold here as it is where you are.

My husband gets excited about that sort of thing. I'm inclined to focus on the fact that January 31, 2018 is a ONCE only event. Blue moons, lunar eclipses, those all happen every now and again, but each and every day is a once-off all by itself!
