How is the connection speed and network availability of SIFY. We are using at the Corporate level of 2Meg line in our office and we pay around 20L ( $40000 ) per year the the Bandwidth. The performance is excellent and the same time the service level is very very good with 99.99 % of uptime per year. I don't know about the retail connections. How is it please let know, Iam planning to take sify, now Iam with BSNL-256 Kbps (400 mb max traffic), I don't know how they are charging but every month I get an average of INR 900 ($20 ).

Frankly speaking, according my opinion Sify is more towards corporate sectors, there line of business in the high volume business. They provide all type of securities measures when it comes to coporate links. They r not bothered much about home segments bcoz their revenue is less and their overheads are high. What I personally suggest, u go for BSNL starter plans, it is really good for home segment, bcoz BSNL is now concentrating more on home segments. Iam using for the last 2 months I don't find much problems, my friend is using for the last 1 year even they r very much comfortable with the speed. I don't know much about airtel, but they do have good plans and ok if u don't get BNSL u can go for AIRTEL, bcoz they even provide with a Telephone with incoming facility along with the internet.

If u r getting 128 Kbs full,it is more than enough. But most of ISPs put it on Shared Bandwidth, where we can get good speed only when others don't use. Thanks for the post.

I do use the same connection, but only at times in the night the internet performance is good, during the morning hours it is not so good. Every month I getting more bill value and I think the bandwidth limit 400 mb is not enough. Iam planning to look for Airtel Connection with unlimited bandwidth capacity. Thanks for the post.

How about u connection, is it guranteed 256 Kbps or only or documents. Please let me know.
