Really Datin' Myself

I was reading through Entertainment magazine's Best In 2017. It had several subjects such as movies, tv shows, new actors , etc. I knew none of the names nor recognized the pictures. But, when it came to the last one(late greats) I knew all the names. Like Tom Petty, Mary Tyler Moore, Fats Domino, etc. Knew all of those. I really dated myself when I looked at all the ones that are gone now. Oh, woe is me.

I would date myself but I’m so quirky about music I might not like my music tastes. 
I know how you feel. I shed tears over Tom Petty, Walter Becker, and Don Williams, but I see “Lil’ Peep” listed on year-end obituaries lists and go, “whodat?”

My moods dictate what type of music I listen to. I guess it is more who you like and the type of music you are into.
