A Rule Breaker Is No More

Our dog Molly insists that she have an army of stuffed animals to help her guard the yard from real and imaginary intruders. To be a member of Molly's army, each stuffed animal must follow a specific set of rules: 1. Always remain in the yard and never enter the house owned by the pet parents. 2. Always be at-the-ready to put up a good fight. 3. Never complain about the outdoor weather conditions. 4. Never fall asleep while on guard duty. 5. Never talk badly about Molly, the leader. 6. Never question an order. 7. Never hide under the bushes, shrubs, or hosta plants to avoid assigned duty. Punishment, that sometimes leads to death, comes to those stuffed babies who do not perform as required. Apparently, the hedgehog, who went by the name "Hedgie," broke rules 2, 4, and 7. It was nice knowing you "Hedgie." .

@LadyDuck Molly holds a grudge for a very long time. 7 years ago, she had a scratch on her eye and we had to put drops for pain and antibiotic drops in the affected eye. She is 8 years old now, and she has not forgiven us for that.

RIP Hedgie All Kobe's stuffed animal soldiers perform their duties down in the trenches. Of course, in nicer weather Kobe, their Staff Sergeant, dug these holes for them to hide in. To make their presence a bit less obvious to the intruders, Kobe threw the dirt back inside the holes, to improve on their shifty disguise. The problem being, most of them will never return home, from battle
