Imagine, as a user of mylot you have started hundreds of discussions and each one of them has attracted a good number of responses. Then one day you start a discussion and it fails to receive even a single response.Would you delete it ??

i don't start a lot, but i actually admire those who leave their discussions up even if there are no or just 1 to 3 responses. i'm not talking about those that are more like status posts of 2 to 3 sentences, but a paragraph or more. it means what matters to them is to express and share their thoughts, not about how it will be received.

@hereandthere You are right. Those who try to express themselves are admirable. My problem is that I'm not perfect in English. That's why I try my best to be as brief as I can in my posts. After sending a post I curiously wait for responses though it doesn't matter to me how many responses it would receive. My last post has received only one response so far,but I'm satisfied.

@hereandthere Agree.I have many times found posts that consisted of hardly one or two sentences.I feel they should be longer.

If I regularly receive thirty or more responses and that one discussion receives zero - I would realize that something is not right about the discussion and I would delete it after a few hours.

@Kandae That's exactly what I would do.If a particular post by me fails to extract even a single response.it would inspire me to do better in my next post.

I would delete it after few hours because in a discussion there should be point to discuss to embrass others thought to put a view on it so that they can understand what exactly to post it so that they can get appropriate info.

Why would I delete it? It's a true reflection of life, that life is not all rosy. It also typifies true human nature that at times it could be all well and at other times, it could be tough.
