Jerry Van Dyke was a talented actor, stand up comedy and did commercials. One of the roles I saw him on The Dick Van Dyke Show playing the banjo the instrument I use to play. Over the years he was on My Mother The Car, did stand up in the 1970's, on Coach for many years, and more recently Yes Dear and The Middle where he appeared with his brother Dick.
He was in a car accident 2 years ago didn't recover and passed at 86. Many people have seen him in so many roles and even Big Lots Ads. I'll miss him. Rest in peace what an amazing talent. What shows did you see him appear?

I read of his passing. Didn't know he lived in Arkansas.

One of my friends on Mylot told me several weeks ago that he is from that state. I'm hoping she posts and can tell me more about his life.
