When my heart beats fast.

Oh no, I'm not talking about love here.
I was able to stay here in Mylot last night doing my notification when all of a sudden my heart beats really fast. It keeps palpitating although it is not new to me. I thought it will go for a second but it stay there like 5 to 10 minutes and I got nervous.
What did I do?
I tried to relax, process the in and out breathing.
Think of happy thoughts.
Listen to music.
And still, it didn't do anything. Those things should make me relax.
I started to panic. Siblings are already sleeping.
I was thinking if I go to sleep I get a cardiac arrest.
So I tried not to fall asleep as I don't want to die tonight.
I tried a different position to make me feel better.
I prayed that this feeling should pass right away.
Thank God, I am able to wake up today with no traces of the last night.
No more throbbing pain in my chest - my heart for that matter.
I can breathe okay now.
What trouble I have at the moment?
I'm starving. Gotta eat first and will go back to you my virtual friends.
By the way, have you experience this kind of thing?
Tell me, please. Thanks.

@JustBhem I had a heart attack in June. I had three blockages so I had to have open heart surgery.

I think it is all in your head. Breath. Focus. Breath again. Take deep breaths. ! second inhale and 4 seconds to exhale.

@JustBhem I find that breathing - deep and conscious breathing - works for me. It relaxes both my mind and body.

My heart beats faster than normal. ECG results shows Tachycardia.
I see my doc regularly so no worries for me. Been like this since childhood.

@JustBhem It is not normal. That's what I said above. Heart beats faster than normal while at rest; rhythm disorder

tachycardia is more often caused by anxiety. anxiety is defined as fear of something unknown. so when you are anxious, even semi-consciously, you will have palpitations.

@JustBhem i think so. if you worry about something unknown, you have palpitations. once you relax, your heart rate will go back to its normal range.
i have that sometimes and what i do is i deep breathe in and out, or do the purse-lip breathing

I have what they call tachycardia but I am told it is something I should not worry about. Have you checked yourself?

It has happened to me @JustBhem . I just took an aspirin. It can be called Mitral Valve Prolapse. If it reoccurs, you should check with your doctor. They can do an EKG to see if that is the problem.
This content does not have an English version. Menu Search Request an Appointment Print Overview Mitral valve prolapse (MVP) occurs when the leaflets of the mitral valve bulge (prolapse) into the heart's left upper chamber (left atrium) like a parachute du

Some virtual virus must have been running wild lately . I myself thought I would keel over (twice in the last 24 hours), but the feeling passed very quickly. I promptly went searching for food, thinking that that might have been from being too hungry (but I doubt that!).

Omg it's nothing but a tachycardia, it happens quite often that heart beats too fast at certain time interval u Just have to relax do not panic as it makes your blood pressure high which is not good for you.
Stay cool and stay relaxed everything will be fine.
