Have you had to have any operations or surgeries? If so, how many and what for? I've had to have 16 operations for lots of different things. I keep saying I REFUSE to have anymore, but...one never knows.

I have an eye and ear operation when I was a child. I have had my tubes tied. But other than that I have not had any other operations. Thank God.

I had just had emergency surgery in July. I had diverticulitis and it ruptured. I had to have a section of my colon removed. Then I just had another surgery a month ago so that they could repair the colon. It's been a rough couple of months.

I'm sorry to hear that. I had diverticulitis this past Spring. I didn't realize anything could rupture. I hope you're on the road to good health now.

I had once had an operation some 7 years ago. The operation was for the Fistrula and wad quite painful after the surgery. I was on bed for 3 more days afterwards and then only I got energy to walk slightly. After 1 week I was home quite fit to do any damn thing. The surgery is successfyl.

Did you need to have any chemo or radiation after your surgery? I'm glad you're cancer free. That must have been a frightening thing to live through.

C-sections to have babies - I almost would have enjoyed those operations. Were all your children delivered by C-section? How old are your children now?

Well let's see, I have had my tonsils removed when I was five years old, I have my gall bladder removed as well as having a c-section to deliver my last child. I think that is about it though unless you count oral surgery.

How old were you then? Did you like being able to eat ice cream afterward? I actually still have my tonsils.

I have had 4 major operations (3 caesarian and a hysterectomy) and 1 minor (microsurgery on my back). Until now I cannot believe how I have survived them all. They were all very scary but I had no choice, and all I did was pray fervently each time. I hope the recent one on my back will be the last!

The only time I can remember is when I was a kid, maybe 1 or 2 years old, some other kids threw all tiny sand into my eyes. Then the doctor cleaned my eyes with knife and medine, I don't remember it's hurt or not, but anytime when my mom talks about it, she feels so sorry.

I have not had many surgeries thank god. I have had a ganglin syst removed and a tendin syst also removed. I have a ccection when my daughter was born and my tubes tide because of health issues. I feel sorry for anyone who has to have more than one surgery in a life time. My pore dad has had seven surgies in the last three years. I hope he is done and I hope that you are done as well. I wish you the rest of your life to be surgery free now.
