It was a simple Christmas celebration with hubby and the 2 adult kids. They tend to spoil me with gifts even though I tell them not to bother. Calendar and diary were the basic gifts and since they knew that I have most of the things that I needed I received gift cards, my favourite magazines and even a colouring book! Maybe for a laugh.. What gifts did you receive?

You received very nice gifts. We do not exchange gifts anymore from several years.

Hubby and I don't give each other gifts. The kids give us gifts, mostly consumables and gift cards. We give them the same. Calendars and diaries and money ;)

@vickyrose We have stopped exchanging gifts, it is more relaxing not to have to take care of this.

Those are great gifts that you got. I got two shirts, a chocolate bar, and a Marks and Spencer bath and body gift bag.

I received a lot of gifts this Christmas and I couldn't thank my family more. They really spoiled me a lot. Most of the gifts I got were really expensive.

Your family gave you some thoughtful gifts. My family had to put some thought into their gifts this year. I had warned them ahead of time....I don't need "stuff". With a long distance move ahead they kept things portable. A travel mug will be appreciated in the months ahead as I sit in the van for many hours. There seemed to be a theme this year....I observed many pairs of socks being unwrapped.

Socks and underwears, sleepwears are what I give to my family. I'm glad that you had a good one.

In my opinion you can't go wrong with a diary or a calendar! I got some sweets and some clothes.

Wow, an expensive bag is really nice. Those are my kid's gifts. Hubby and I don't give each other gifts now. We save up for something else like travels.
