Sure, we can 'tell them "Congratulations for winning a(nother) Hollywood Foreign Press Association award for cinematic greatness!"' But ... so what? The only way we can really pay them congratulations--the only 'gratuity' that they'll really fee (from us anyway)--is 'the fact that producers will more-likely hire them because we viewers will more-likely attend a viewing of work that includes them!' https://www.bing.com/search?q=2018%20Golden%20Globe%20winners&FORM=ML16JS&OCID=ML16JS&wt.mc_id=ML16JS&rrid=_4a4d8ca6-d007-c59d-34cf-7b40dfa07200 So the best thing you or I can do is "remind any movie-makers out there that 'these movie-workers (actors & crew-members)' mean 'bigger ticket-sales!'" yeah?

I think I have to disagree since there are often movies that win awards, including Golden Globes, that don't do particularly well at the box office. The Golden Globes also honor television and there are often shows that win a lot of awards that aren't all the popular.

@mythociate Maybe they just like to recognize excellence? Nothing wrong with that...
