After my lenghty talk with the clinical coordinator, I toned down with my emotions especially when I was assured that I will be given morning shift in the next school year.
Then he shook my hand in front of our students since we were still in the hospital lobby.
"Congratulations ma'am you got the highest evaluation score from our levels 3 and 4 students this 1st semester. We always expect that for your efforts. " (Congratulations ma'am, ikaw na naman ang may pinakamataas na evaluation mula sa mga students natin. I ne - expect talaga namin yan.")
I am humbled, but I am still the ever - fierce CI when it comes to duty concerns.

thanks, kabsat. if we are devoted to our vocation, we don't get tired of teaching the young minds and sharing our knowledge, skills, and attitude as well.

you forgot to add "again" (na naman), as in "you again got the highest evaluation score/or you got the highest evaluation score again" which means you have a good reputation and good track record in your school that you have consistently maintained. congrats!

i shared this discussion because i thought the congratulatory remark of our clinical coordinator was his way of settling my emotions down after the outburst of my ire and rant.
