After reading @Tampa_girl7 post on Unique Manhole cover I went to my Photo library to look for all those that my hubby and I had come upon during our travels across Europe. This one is from Brugge and every manhole is different and apparently has a story to tell. I cannot give you its story, but I notice there are a crown and a kind of K letter to the bottom of it. I wonder what it means? I tried to google it, but only images of this particular manhole and no history attached. After fining our first unique manhole my hubby found himself walking the streets with his head and camera down hoping to find more - which he did. We only have very special manholes in our historical cities, but they are few and only in our historical cobblestoned streets. Thanks Marie, your post took me on a quick flashback to my travels, which is always a good thing.

As I said to Marie on her post - I've never noticed what our manhole covers have on them. I'll be looking in the future.

I think there are a lot of beautiful and special things around our life. If we pay attention to it, beauty can be discovered. In China, don't have special manhole. or maybe I haven't been to too much cities.
