Evening . I have been struggling with losing weight and really really fed up. Is there someone that knows of a diet that really works where you don 't have to starve yourself. Thank you

Well it's more than "diet". You have keto, South Beach, Atkins, etc but not every " diet" works for everyone. They're more for making the creator money than anything else. I find we Americans have gotten lazy. If it doesn't come out of a box, bag, can or scalpel we don't want it. The bottom line is you have to find what works for YOU. And you have to burn more than you take in. You MUST workout, exercise or whatever you want to call it. You must also be CONSISTENT and PERSISTENT. Start with something EXTREMELY easy, like a walk around the block before work. Your body will let you know when to push a little harder. Eat clean, fresh food. Break your food intake up to four to six small meals daily. Drink PLENTY of water. That's what I did after my last deployment (thank God lol) when I underwent back surgery. You can do this! Good luck, God bless!

Think of it as a lifestyle change! I started watching what I eat by counting calories and portion control. You shouldn't just blindly eat, keep track of the amount of calories you are eating. I was eating a lot more calories than I thought I was before I started keeping track. There are many apps to help you count calories, I use My Fitness Pal to keep a daily food diary of what I eat, how many calories, etc. For my height and weight, I am supposed to eat about 1600 calories per day to stay at the same weight. So, I eat about 1400 a day and exercise to create a deficit, which is how you lose weight. Later on, I will probably be going down to 1200 after I lose some. That is just what I am doing, you need to talk with your doctor/dietician to discuss what would be best for YOU.

Dont starve yourself or follow some crazy diets. Instead start eating healthy foods, drink lots of water throughout the day and exercise mildly.

I agree to one of the other responses. Do not look at it as a diet. You have to change your mindset to LIFESTYLE CHANGE...set small goals, change your food choices, reduce your portions, track everything, eat less, move more, keep a journal of your thoughts and feelings, and most important, don't be afraid to make adjustments as necessary. Good luck!

I agree with others. Honestly the best "diet" is well balanced nutrition and portion sizes. Make sure you leave out the bad foods. Introduce plenty of healthy foods. Eat often. Drink plenty of water. Exercise daily. You definitely got this?

Eat less sugar and fried foods like KFC, and try it for 2 weeks, can simply lose 10lbs. Drink more water.

Valerie and Susan have a diet they are on that they like. Maybe ask them. For me diets do not work. I have been off and on of them and never kept the weight off. I know I have to give up things. Have given up some but not ready to give up others yet. Also, have temptations I like right now and also I am not eating as much as I have done in the past and am not always hungry.
