Do you remember the childhood candy stores? You could get penny candy. You could come out of that store with a nice size bag of candy for less than a quarter. Those were the days.

Only penny candy i got was hershey kisses, reeses, m&ms. And gum. But my favorite candy as a kid is the same as now, 3musketeers. And the bandaid bubblegum and bubble jug.

Milky Way was my favorite candy bar as a kid. I don't know when Hershey's kisses came out. As for gum, I liked Bazooka with the jokes inside. Those were always fun to read.

@MsBooklover lol. Lollipops are candies too and I guess its not wrong for adults to eat candies whether it could be on a plastic stick or not.

Yes, when ever I bought penny candy it was the Atomic red hots..those cinammon hot balls. I still like them honestly..I am sure they are hard on your teeth though.

If you have teeth. I remember those too. Hot on the tongue, but who could resist them?

We had one right across the street from the school. My favorite candies were lemon drops, milk duds, and those strips of dots.
