I am not alone when I say that the United States government wastes a tremendous amount of money on ridiculous purchases. Even more so, their use of ICE, FEMA and Homeland Security for witch hunts. Their most recent escapade called for the synchronized raid of 7-11 convenience stores by customs agents. No, they weren't there to crack down on the outrageous prices or the ever-spinning ultra dry hot dogs … no, this was to check the documentation of employees to ensure that they were / are United States citizens. The hundreds of arrests they had been hoping for never materialized and a lot of higher-ups were left looking foolish. Do you really think that if a manager is going to hire people without green cards they are going to let them be 'out in the open'? I mean, come on, the parent company of 7-11 is located in Tokyo and even though they have a tremendous work ethic – they can't play God and see everything that happens in every store not to mention the franchise locations. I hate to think of the hundreds of thousands of dollars that were wasted before the raids were organized or the millions spent on surveillance, paying off snitches and overtime. Instead of keeping the promises that El Diablo Trump made during his election campaign he's wandering around Washington like a freshly charged Roomba – sure he bumps into things but the internal gyroscope does a weeble wobble move and all is right in Trump Land. Mind your Turbo Dogs, Mountain Dew Slurpees and lottery scratch off tickets – it's only a matter of time before some agency does a 'knock and talk' about such suspicious activity.
