School is cancelled here, so I am off work. That is good, I will get the continuing education stuff done that I need to. Oh, and rest. I will elaborate on why it is a really good thing for me in just a bit. Let's just say that I need recovery time. We do not appear to have snow, yet. Wind, rain, and sleet. I am going to stay warm.

@shshiju When I was a child, no cancelling school. We did not have air conditioning and the teachers would open the windows and bring in fans. I lived in a different place when I had children in school. One of the buildings did not have air conditioning. At that school if the temperature was 83 F by 11 in the morning the school was released at 1 pm. That way the kids who needed lunch were fed and the school could count it as a whole day.

Well, the moisture has stopped for now. I think it was sleet. The wind is still pretty strong.

We are expecting more cold, snow, and wind tomorrow. It is also a day when school is out and offices are closed for a holiday.

We are needing moisture. Snow would be better than the blowing ice crystals. I hope you are not flooding where you are.

It seemed to literally drop 20 degrees in one hour, just after midnight. With the wind, it is bitterly cold.

I am hibernating until May. Don't go out at all. Stay in where it is warm.

Oh, it will probably be warm here before that. Be safe and warm where you are though. I have also seen it cold enough to snow in May. Crazy weather.

I would like it if each season were a little shorter. Extreme heat or cold gets very old after a while.
