Do you see farm animals or wildlife where you live?

If you live in a city you don't get to see farm animals or wildlife. The only animals I see are birds, cats and dogs. Sometimes chicken and squirrels from distance too. But when I take the buss to work it takes me to a route that passes by a little farm. There are always two horses I can closely see from the bus window. I don't know if there are other animals in that little farm but those horses are just beautiful. Do you see farm animals or wildlife where you live?

Looking out of my upper floor windows I see sheep in an open field, donkeys and horses. I hear the rooster in the morning, chicken are surely not far.

It almost feels like living in a farm for you then. Wish I can hear the rooster in the morning too, instead of cars and garbage trucks

In the subdivision where we live, there are only dogs and cats. But in my parents' house there are fishes, dogs , cats and hedgehogs. I also see a carabao or two when the jeepney I am riding passes by ricefields.

Only when they defense themselves, alligators here are not really big, it could be as the size of legs only.

I see horses, cows, pigs, sheep if we drive around but usually I see the animals I have at my house: cats, dogs, chickens and of course the birds that fly by.

There are a few farm animals where we live. A neighbor one road over has a chicken, rooster and a couple of goats. There is a pasture not too far away from us where the owner raises cows.

I live in a country area which is not too country. Sometimes I might see a mongose darting around a tree in our yard, or a farmer taking his goats out to pasture.

@Madshadi I see squirrels a great deal, sometimes rabbits and raccoons. About ten years ago, I was in line at Chic-fil-A. and a skunk came out under the fenced in area where the garbage bin was located, near my car. I told my kids not to move until we moved forward, that was the closest I've ever been to a skunk.

@Madshadi Mine is a developing industrial town.I regularly go on my evening walk to the outskirts where there is a small, but dense jungle. There I often come across hynaeas, foxes and rabbits.Farm animals are available in plenty in my town itself. Moreover wild elephants often stray into villages and destroy crops there, but I have never encountered them.

@Madshadi No,it's not safe to stay there at night, especially in winter.Although jackals and foxes or hynaeas can't harm you,but wild elephants may anytime stray into the jungle and then it would be difficult for you to protect yourself.I stay there till dusk and leave before it is dark.
