No. When I am stressed, I cannot eat and don't have the appetite. But when I am happy, I like to eat a lot of foods that come into my mind.

@Theresaaiza I write. I read. I pray. I don't eat, never have when I'm stressed.

@just4him I should be more consistent with those three things you mentioned.

I like the phrase. I've been looking for an interesting topic, and this was the only one that has caught my attention in the past 15 minutes. Lol! I don't stress eat, I actually eat less when I'm stressed because I'm too stressed to feel hungry, but I force myself to eat small portions of stuff throughout the day so I don't lose any nutrients.

thanks for saying it was interesting Yes, I understand that stress can affect us differently, and we can react differently to other kinds of stressors as well. Anxiety causes my appetite to curb whereas sadness makes me stress eat.

I don't know? Isn't it better to relax and be at peace when we eat?

It truly is the perfect way to enjoy food. But some people do turn to food for comfort. I think it's a form of an eating disorder.

Very well said. When stressed, I usually do not eat, but I know people who do ease stress through eating.

When I am very very anxious or nervous, I lose my appetite - the butterflies in my tummies are enough to make me feel sick. I guess the times I stress-eat is when I am very sad, or upset. Or maybe it's just PMS most of the time.

Yeah, the times I find I lose my appetite are when I'm very nervous about an upcoming event or anticipating something that isn't gonna go down well.
